Went to see Wanted (Timur Bekmambetov, 2008). Bekmambetov also directed Nightwatch and Daywatch. With gorgeous Angelina Jolie (complete with to-die-for body and tattoos) and Scotsman James McAvoy, recently seen in Atonement (Joe Wright, 2007). Great action movie. Utter (joyful) disregard for the least verisimilitude. No-one could have imagined you could do things like that with bullets, cars and trains! Forget Kennedy's magic bullet. Adapted from highly interesting comic book by Scotsman Mark Millar, of course (this one's for you, Benjamin G.). Who cares about coherence? So what if it is very dubious, ideologically speaking? Just sit tight and enjoy the ride.
