I see the following kind of posts at the above kinds of sites.

I am almost 7 year in this country
this country gave me lots of opt. but i am stuck with EB3 i am unable to file I-485 lets hope +ve for this bill please push this bill

I have been folllowing IV for some time now and i feel core are just bunch of useless and ineffective group of people, with zero track record....... they are going to achieve NOTHING!!!!!

Such a post would replace the word IV with Senate/House and the word core with the names of four important persons involved with our issues:
1. Nancy Pelosi (Madam speaker),
2. Zoe Lofgren (Chair, House subcommittee on Immigration),
3. Harry Reid (Senate Majority Leader),
4. Ted Kennedy (Chair, Senate House subcommittee on Immigration).

Come on TIGER these are the sites to vent your frustation. You will get your GC (overnight delivery or even personal delivery by Nancy Pelosi + Harry Reid) with the above kind of posts. It will also show the way to the dumb contributing IV members.

regarding ur post, there is a correction.

holding an Approval notice alone is NOT a valid reason to bypass the transit visa in germany.

holding a valid visa or Adv parole is good . but not just an appr notice.

Nice work. I definately like the second shot better with the red bulbs. You could try to rig up a "tent" over and around the sides of the shot with white sheets and put some lights shining thru that. That would give you a bit more consistency and cut down on the specular highlights a bit (although they are not bad by any means in either of these shots.


Another option would be to go for a really slow shutter speed and use a flashlight to "paint" the glasses. This sort of thing takes a lot of practice but I've seen some excellent shots done by this method.

The H1 document in and by itself is not. The I-94 card that comes printed at the bottom is. And the I-94 card is a valid document as per the I-9 form.

I received my FP notice. My Lawyer also received my FP notice which he mailed it to me. Now I have two copies. Which copy should I carry for my FP appointment? Does it matter?

Option 1 - Take Travel Insurance for 15 days. For young folks that is not pricey and covers emergencies.

Option 2 - Just ignore....It is a matter of 15 days. Insurance is good, desirable, and highly recommended......but it is not something that deserves too much worry for 15 days for any healthy person.

I would highly recommend against option#2. I had accident on first day of driving after coming back from India. I had been driving for 5yrs before it. Luckily nothing happened but you never know and that is why you have insurance. For this scenario check health coverage on your auto policy. But how many scenarios are you going to cover? Best to get some kind of coverage. It is not advisable to live in this country without health insurance. It can make you go back to your home country/file bankruptcy etc. Americans are not stupid to have such costly insurance policies.

Change add' online in USCIS website. After few days you will receive confirmation letter. Also send AR-11 for to DHS and confirm with USCIS.

FYI, i saw 2 LUDs on 485 & EAD from the day i changed the address online.

I didn't get second part.
What is DHS?
Which address should I send AR-11 to ?
After all this is done will they resend the returned card or do I have to specifically request for it?

Thanks for the prompt reply and need clarification on few more things....
like when the new co is in the process of transfer of h1 or after the transfer of h1 the old co revoke I-140 then ...
1) Will I be able to get 3 yrs extension or that extension will be valid after H1 transfer ?
2) How it will effect the future GC process by new Co.?

need your suggestion on these too:
3) thinking worse scenario.. after H1 transfer to new co if lay off happens...then
how things will work out to stay on H1 status?
4) what I should discuss/need to clarify with new empl before making a move ?

Yes but sometimes if your H1B approval take more time then you can take H1B receipt to get few months extension.

I got my visa re-validation (re-stamping) done at Mumbai consulate on Nov 12. This was my 3rd H1B stamping. The previous 2 stampings were done at other consulates. These were the only questions asked:

1) Which company you work for?
Answered
2) Reason for visiting India
Ans - For visa revalidation and to visit family.
3) How will your spouse and child travel since they are not applying with you?
Ans - Child is US citizen and spouse will use AP.

The officer informed that the visa is approved, and the passport will be sent by courier. I had just about every document that you can think of, but not a single document was asked.

GC Struggle, I am not sure about your comments on "reactivated by filing an amendment with USCIS" to get back to H1B status after being employed with EAD. As per my understanding once you had utlized EAD then if one wants to go back to H1B then it is like a NEW H1B petition and NOT just claiming your old H1B. If possible could you pls provide a link to official document stating the approach suggested in your post.

Transferring cases saying that it is to speed up processing which essentially delays processing maing us wonder if it is a time buying tactic to cover inefficiecy.

An application filed in August if not transferred to NSC would have had ND and RD as August, but now it has Oct. Rubbing salt on the wound NSC is processing 2006 and 2007 cases and not picking 2004 cases.

I have my I-140 waiting at NSC from May 01, 2006. On Dec. 05, 2006, I-140 processing time shows as June 01, 2006. Since, it was more than 30 days, my employer called the National Service Center number and they opened a service request and told me to wait 45 days. My lawyer says that USCIS takes 45 days at a minimum to reply, but normally it is 90 days.

Is there anyone out there, who know how to track this service requests or have any experiences with them.

What is unfortunate is that whenever they talk about 'immigration', it always refers to the illegal immigration problem. The US already have a legal immigration process. Fix this first before dealing with the illegal problem. If there was a functional legal immigration process, it would resolve some illegal immigration issues.
